You can place your holiday orders directly with us, or pick up cookies, fruitcake and Stöllen at Tait Farm Harvest Shop on Rte. 322 outside Boalsburg, PA.

Springerle | Family Favorites | Christmas Cookies

Springerle
Traditional anise and ginger (with white chocolate back) molded cookies – these excellent dipping cookies keep almost forever and get better as they age. These delicious cookies also can be hung as decorations.

We produce Springerle in various sizes from our extensive collection of heirloom and replica Springerle molds. This season we have added many additional prints to choose from – contact us for descriptions.

Gingersnaps

Russian Teacakes
Often known as Mexican wedding cakes, nut balls, or pecan sandies, these delightful cakes are basically pecans and butter with a small amount of sugar and flour to hold them together, rolled in confectioners sugar.

Lebkuchen
My husband's family recipe – a spicy, chocolate cookie with fruit, nuts, honey, cardamom and a chocolate glaze.

Paneforte di Siena
In many ways similar to the Lebkuchen – chocolate, nuts and fruit held together with a small amount of honey and flour, cut into pieces and rolled in confectioners sugar.

Lemon Cardamom
Delicately flavored and stamped with a seasonal imprint of a star or a partridge in a pear tree.

Cookie Gift Packs
3-inch cookies in packages of 6 – these make lovely little gifts – in a clear cellophane bag, tied with a bright ribbon.

Cookie Boxes and trays
We make a variety of cookies for Christmas – including Sand Tarts, Thumbprints, Linzer Squares, Angel Slices, Peanut Butter Kiss, Snickerdoodles, Gingerbread Cut-out Cookies, Spritz Butter cookies in a variety of shapes and flavors including espresso, Russian teacakes, pecan tassies, Springerle, Lebkuchen, Gingersnaps, Hermits, Lemon Cardamom, PaneForte di Siena. Boxes and trays contain some of each cookie.

Prices range from $15.00 for a 1.5-dozen tray to $40.00 for an 4-dozen party tray. The most popular size is a box or tray with 27 cookies for $22.00.
